History:
I purchased the car in the offseason 2016. It came from Ottawa and was previously run in Ontario and Quebec by Andre Lorent and Lew Mackenzie
The car won both B class supporting races at the 2016 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.
The engine has a steel head with very good flow and a ford crank. It has a 16lb flywheel and racing clutch and hepolite pistons. The head was refreshed before I bought it for the 2017 season.
Car comes with CASC-ON and CACC logbooks with full history.
According to the previous owner (from the ad I purchased the car from):
Front roll centre and camber curve are far superior to original due to re-engineering, eliminating the stock understeer.
Penske double adjustable shocks
Floor is T6 aluminum and the body sides have Kevlar anti-intrusion
Updated 2007 style nose (more aerodynamic) – commonly see this in the Toyo series on the B class cars
New this season:
New Odyssey PC680 Battery - 2017
New Sabelt FIA belts - 2017
New lightweight racing muffler from Pegasus - 2017
Rebuilt Carb by Loyning - late 2017
Re-routed throttle cable for better response (previously had far too many bends and pedal was too heavy)
Suspension Set up by Marty Knoll of MK Technologies.
Car is ready to race as is (it was raced 5 weekends in 2017).
At the scales it was 1,115lbs with a driver that weighs about 190lbs. The car is light. The 1991 cars are also known to be very aerodynamic.
