Racing.ca team is ready to giver!

After an eventful 2014 season, filled with cooperation, excitement and great success, the Racing.ca team has had short time to prepare for the new 2015 Pirelli World Challenge saga, which this year will begin as soon as March 6. With the addition of a new race car and the burning need to upgrade the race support infrastructure - the preparation work for this new year was indeed gargantuan. But thanks to the unsurpassable professionalism and the complete and utter epicness, yes, that's a word, of our partner Nixon Prosports (www.nixonprosports.com) - all of the pre-planned tasks are completed on-time and the team will be presenting itself at the first race of the season with an extended roster.
This season the Racing.ca team is aspiring, nod to the race Gods, to run three cars, and in addition to the last season’s participants Andrei Kisel and Glenn Nixon, are very excited to welcome this team’s newest driver Wei Lu.

Wei comes to the team with a breadth of experience, having ran in several classes and in all sorts of events from endurance and sprint to club format races; Wei is also familiar with a multitude of race tracks:

Team Lead Andrei Kisel asked Wei to tell us more:

- I’ve heard that you have an incredible amount of track days under your belt, can you tell us how many?
I have done about 100 track days and driving events since 2009.

- When did you begin your racing career?
Started my first race by the end of 2012 with Nixon Prosports in a Honda S2000.

- What racing series have you participated in?
I raced in 2014 CSM Radical Race Series and in 2014 North America Ferrari Challenge.

- What are your goals and expectations from the 2015 season?
The plan for me in 2015 is to improve my driving, and to make myself capable of climbing up the class ladder in Pirelli World Challenge in the future.
