This 1975 LeGrand Mk21 Club Formula Ford is the perfect car for a novice or someone wanting to race open wheel just for the fun of it (and it is fun!). It wouldn’t be a class winner without a fresh engine and new tires, but its last time out (October 5, 2025) it was turning a very respectable 1 minute 17 seconds on Vintage tires at the Mission Raceway Motorsports Circuit.

The cylinder head was freshened and a new carburetor fitted last year, but the Ivey engine is due for a rebuild. The Hewland Mk9 transaxle currently has Mission-suitable ratios but two extra gear sets are also available with the car. A two year old Lithium battery is fitted and the engine starts first time, every time! The Avon Vintage race tires are on steel wheels (see photo) but also included is a set of rain tires installed on rare LeGrand lightweight rims. The bodywork is in fair shape and would benefit from a little TLC. An almost new nose cone and a spare set of new EBS Green Stuff brake pads are included. Accessory battery connector cables could also be included.
