"Annie” is a nice, quick, bright red 1960 Austin Healey ‘Bugeye’ Sprite that turns 1:27 lap times at the Mission Raceway Park Motorsports Circuit. This well-known Sprite has been active in the Vintage race group for seven years, including a couple of visits to Portland and one to Edmonton.

The hood tilts forward for easy access to the BMC 1,275 cc engine, which has an aluminium head and Weber side draft carb, plus upgraded pistons and con rods, a race camshaft, and four bolt main bearing cap and better oil seals on the crankshaft. It was dyno tuned in January 2024 and showed 117 HP at 6,500 RPM and 104 lbft of torque at 5,250 RPM. It has a much stronger Nissan transmission, which is perfect for the Mission track. It also features disc brakes on all four corners, a Panhard bar for the rear axle, two piece rear axle shafts, dual bearings, and a Quaife limited slip differential.

The roll cage was fabricated and installed in 2017. The interior has a full set of “Speed Hut” gauges including a large tach with incremental shift lights, and a built in “OMP” fire suppression system. The safety harness will expire in 2027.

The package also includes three spare engine blocks and a transmission (‘some assembly required’), an engine hoist and engine stand, plus many other miscellaneous bits and pieces.
