1994 Mazda Miata.
The body is very solid over all, very little rust. Looks like it spent most of its life in a garage.
Extra tall roll cage, installed in approx. 2014 or 2015. Appears well done.
Stock engine. Stock 5 speed trans.
Comes with 15 x 9" rims with old tires that have tread but are hard. Also stock rims for winter storage.
Car runs well over all.
Suspension basically stock as former owner ran chump car a few times and didn't want to take penalties for upgrades.
Fire suppression in place, not certified and needs recharge.
Very functional but some aspects done with eye to function over cosmetics including hood vents, aero behind front wheels and wood backing for shut off switch.
I had the car looked over at time of purchase by Lucky Dog tech guy who advised it would pass inspection with certified fire suppression and one more nozzle aimed at driver. He checked the cage thickness and it passed.
Purchased by me March of 2021. Ran 2 track days at Grand Bend and 2 at CTMP (Mosport).
Car was originally from Ottawa. It was purchased by a guy from London in 2014 who gutted it, added the roll cage and turned it into a race car. He didn't race too much and had to quit racing in 2016 or 17. It sat in storage until I bought it in March of 2021.
Over all its a decent car. But I started with an NC Miata and the NA just isn't for me.
I live in Windsor Ontario and the car is located just North of London.
