1990 Spec Miata. Was built from low mile rust free southern chassis by a previous owner with all Spec Miata parts including Miatacage roll cage, Mazdaspeed adjustable sway bars, Bilstein shocks with Eibach coilovers, '99 fat cat top hats, cone filter, torsen diff, exhaust, engine built to the limit of spec miata rulebook. I purchased the car in 2016 in order to run CASC GT sprints and made a few upgrades to make the car competitive in that class including adjustable wing, splitter, and Supermiata/949 racing twin disc clutch and flywheel. The mods were chosen so that the car could be returned to spec miata legal quickly and easily.
The car has been fast, easy to drive and extremely reliable. Fastest lap of 1:40.6 at Mosport and 2:35.3 at Calabogie with a driver who had never driven at Calabogie previously. We ran this car in the Indian Summer fall enduro at Mosport 4 times with an arrive and drive racer who had never driven this car and was able to come within 1 second of the car owner's time within 1 hour of track time.
Car comes with 5 spec miata legal 15" wheels, spare transmission in great condition, a few spare body panels and taillights. Battery is less than 1 year old. Belts are current and should pass CASC tech as it sits.
