I'm selling my 325ix track car, yes it is AWD and fast!
I imported this 2 door 'ix' from NY in 2005 to turn it into a track car. (no 2 door 'ix' sold in Canada)
The car is clean but being a track car, many stone chips are present on the front spoiler and rear flares.
I improved the car during the years I owned it, and as it is right now, it is faster than a E30 M3, E36 M3, E46 M3, E92 M3
and almost as fast as a new M4 (faster if less experienced driver). Faster than a 993 supercharged, Cayman 'S'...
I include another car (325ix) in the sale price. The other car is dismantled and include; engine, transmission, transfer case, front and rear diff, axles, body
parts (hood, doors, trunk, windows etc) interior parts (original seats, another dash with no crack, etc)
Here are the mods / parts that are on the car:
M20 stock engine with new BMW head gasket 0.020'' thicker and Metric Blue high strength bolts.
Windage tray / crank scraper with baffles in the oil pan
Borg Warner turbocharger bought new in 2016 to replace a Holset that I was using before
New performance injectors (2016) from Five-O-Motorsports

Additional 2nd fuel pump to transfert left side to right side and avoid fuel starvation in high G turns

Big Brake Kit; Wilwood calipers and discs at front with Hawk pads, stock caliper with PFC 11 at rear (new 2019).
Braided stainless brake lines + clutch line
Aluminum motor mounts and transfer case mount
Powerflex urethane bushing on rear subframe and front control arms and rear diff

6 point rollcage welded to the body and approved by CARS (Canadian Rally Association) made of DOM tubing (includes log book)
AEM air fuel ratio gauge/probe
New Spectra OEM fuel tank
OE E30 M3 rear spoiler
4 new Nitto NT-01 in 2018 (275-40-17)
4 Team Dynamic 17X9 wheels
4 Hoosier rain on mag wheels
4 Hoosier R7 with some wear
The car is ready to run as is. I have some items on my 'todo' list that will need to be done eventually;
- Tune the cold start enrichment (idle fluctuates on cold starts for 2-3 minutes)
- At around 5200 RPM and 100% throttle, there is a momentary miss or fuel cut. May be a cell in the fuel table that is too
low, if I press the throttle at 99% instead, it will avoid the problem so that is what I do right now until I have time to
look at it.
- The timing belt will need to be changed soon as part of the maintenance
- The body work on the hood needs some love around the bulge.
- There is a small exhaust leak at the turbo manifold. Needs a bit of welding
The car is registered and insured for the road but I trailer it to the track.
I also have a 16' car trailer equipped with a lockable tire rack, tool box and has a dove tail for easy loading.
The trailer is NOT included in the listed price and can't be sold before the car.
Serious inquiries only please.
Arrangement can be made to bring the car at a local track and I give you a ride.
