1997 Mustang GT track car - updated drivetrain and chassis    $26,000     For Sale by Owner

Selling my 1997 Mustang GT with the following modifications:

Chassis:
-1997 Mustang GT
-Chromoly roll cage with driver and passenger window nets
-Through-the-floor full length subframe connectors
-Cervinis vented lift-off hood with Ford Racing hood pins
-17x9 wheels all around with 275/40/17
-Custom battery tray in rear passenger compartment, heavy duty wiring througout
-Custom tow hooks and strapping points mounted to frame
-Master battery cutoff switch


Suspension:
-Complete Griggs GR40 World Challenge Suspension ($13k USD for this kit)
-Griggs lightweight tubular roadracing K-member
-SLA front end
-Watts Link

-Koni 30 series coilovers

Brakes:
-Factory Ford hydroboost converted to all AN-6 lines

This car has the best of the best with no expense spared. It has not been used on track since the complete drivetrain upgrade (5.0/T56/fuel system/etc). It runs and shop drives. To be ready to go to the track it needs the following:

-Windshield installed (removed for wiring)
-Tidy up miscellaneous wires/cables
-Pinion angle set (easy with torque arm)
-Exhaust mid-pipe and mufflers hung and welded
-Dyno tune (runs fine but the standalone ECU comes with a very conservative tune not ideal for racing)
-Install your seat and harnesses

Can adjust price if there are components you don't want. I will part this car out if it doesn't sell but would VERY much like to see someone use it on track rather than breaking it up. You could not build a faster/safer car for anywhere near the price.
